MLB Covid outbreak caused by night out in Atlanta?

Earlier this a week a Covid-19 breakout amongst player and coaches from the Maimi Marlins caused the team to postpone a few games. This morning USA TODAY columnist Bob Nightengale said on a radio show that “I think a couple of guys went out in Atlanta” then continued to say “I believe some guys got careless… at least one guy did, for sure. He went out, and I think he came back positive, spread it around.”

As a citizen of the beautiful city of Atlanta, I will not stand by these senseless claims!

Sure Lou Will got caught trying to risk it all for Magic City’s Lemon Pepper BBQ Wings…

Magic City Wings

Sure our city’s Mayor (Keisha Lance Bottoms) contracted the virus herself a few weeks ago…

Sure our governor sued KLB to prevent mandatory masks in public…

And so what our cases are reaching new peaks every couple of days

Okay well maybe there are a few reasons why Bob over here may blame Atlanta. The MLB will just have to have some self-control when they come to ATL. I get it we have an amazing city that’s not fully shut down but we all have to do our part! It can be tempting to grab a few drinks in Buckhead then stop by Magic City for a ten-piece, but for the sake of the MLB, sports and America, please keep it low-key in Atlanta until a vaccine!
